ADM cement-resin vases are designed to meet the aesthetic requirements of contemporary furnishing. Their manufacturing follows a fully manual process that gives life to a precious artisan product. The structure of the vases is obtained through artisan moulds filled manually with a substance whose main components are resin and stone powder. After having been cleaned and polished, the vases are decorated with different techniques, as described below:
Decoration with mother-of-pearl shells
This very laborious decoration is obtained by modelling in geometrical shapes the shells of oysters and gluing them one by one to the surface of the vase until it is completely covered. The inner portion of the shell that features an iridescent pearlescent colour is the one used to bestow an opulent look to the vase.
Metal leaf decoration
Metallic leaf decorations can be in gold, silver or copper colours and represent a technique widely used in the past for frames or furniture. Applied to the vases, this decoration bestows a rich and classical look to them. The leaf is applied manually.
Antique Bronze Finish
It is a decoration obtained by overlapping two colours thus obtaining a shaded colour with an antique flair. This process is performed manually as well.
Antique Silver Finish
It is a decoration obtained by overlapping two colours one of which is then partially removed, thus obtaining a shaded colour with an antique flair. This process is performed manually as well.
